WELCOME to my blog ~ I’m Michele.
I absolutely love blogging about the DIY projects I’ve completed! It’s also so fulfilling to share with you the different craft projects I’ve done. I consider it an honor that you are here! THANK YOU!I hope you will take a moment to sign up for my newsletter so you won’t miss a single project, story or update!
Prior to starting this blog, I was a Showroom Manager for a granite wholesaler and importer. I’m thankful for all of the design skills I learned while in that position. If you need any design assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
I will do my best to post new projects and stories weekly. I encourage you to join me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest for more interesting content! Just click the red social icon buttons on the right to follow along!
Let’s create together friends!
Whether it’s a craft project, a delicious recipe, or an easy DIY I know you will find something you will enjoy each time you visit.
I hope you like chalk paint projects and updating old, boring furnishing like I do! There will be many interesting and useful projects that you can complete in an afternoon for little to no money! If you are new to chalk paint, no worries, I will teach you about the different applications and easy to learn techniques.
Do you love shopping at resale shops, garage sales, and flea markets? GREAT, me too! There’s tons of potential to be found hiding in these places! You’ve just got to look beyond what you see in the beginning and let your creative nature take over.
There will also be updates regarding my fight against breast cancer. I hope to inspire others who are also dealing with this disease. There will also be posts about the nearly 40 acres of land that Mr. Man and I purchased in July! This gorgeous farm in only an hour north of where we currently live. So we go up there often to enjoy it!
Since the property is heavily wooded, we’ve been working with a Forester and have since gotten our farm Certified with the American Tree Farm System! We have a lot to learn and are looking forward to developing this property into a working farm!
Mr. Man and I are planning our “forever” farmhouse. I can hardly wait until we move up there!
Most of all, I feel I’m never too old to learn about new things and I am always willing to get my hands dirty trying! For more information about me as well as Thistledown Domestic Creations please read my welcome post, Thank you for Visiting!
